Sisi Rondina to make pro debut with Choco Mucho

It has been four long years since Sisi Rondina last graced the indoor volleyball court, but the wait is finally over.

The athletic 5-foot-6 spiker, known for her prowess in beach volleyball, has decided to make a comeback to the indoor scene, igniting excitement among fans of the team.

Rondina's decision to shift her focus to beach volleyball came after her outstanding performance in the 30th Southeast Asian Games, where she proudly claimed a bronze medal. However, her love for indoor volleyball never waned, and now she has signed with Choco Mucho, eagerly preparing for the upcoming 2023 Premier Volleyball League Invitational Conference.

Rondina last set foot on a taraflex back in 2019.

Rondina's return comes after a disappointing stint in the 32nd SEA Games held in Cambodia.

The Philippine women's national beach volleyball team, including Rondina, experienced a heart-wrenching outcome as they were unable to secure a medal, putting an end to their two-year streak of clinching bronze in the biennial meet.

Hailing from the vibrant town of Compostela in Cebu, the 26-year-old spiker will now join forces with former rivals and teammates, as she embarks on a new chapter of her career with Choco Mucho.

Bea De Leon, Deanna Wong, Kat Tolentino, Maddie Madayag, Des Cheng, Aduke Ogunsanya, and Caitlyn Viray, Rondina's former teammate in both indoor and beach volleyball at UST, will form an impressive lineup.
