ZUS Coffee has bolstered its roster with the addition of young outside hitter Anna DeBeer, aiming to strike a balance between youth and experience for the 2025 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference, the team announced Friday.
The 5-foot-11 American spiker last played for Indy Ignite in the Major Volleyball League—her first professional stint after graduating from the University of Louisville.
“US NCAA Division I athlete Anna DeBeer signs with the ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles for the upcoming 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference,” the team wrote in a Facebook post.
“The outside hitter, who previously suited up for the University of Louisville and Indy Ignite, will join forces with the likes of Jovelyn Gonzaga, AC Miner, Thea Gagate, and Chinnie Arroyo as they aim for the best finish in franchise history,” the team added.
DeBeer delivered 172 points for Indy Ignite, built on 148 attacks, 17 blocks, and seven aces, while also tallying 110 digs.
She is expected to complement the Thunderbelles’ core of Gagate, Arroyo, Miner, Gonzaga, and Clo Mondoñedo as they gear up for the new season.
