Rizza Cruz joins Louie Romero in Farm Fresh

Wherever Louie Romero goes, Rizza Cruz will follow.

This ongoing trend between the two young volleyball stalwarts continues as Cruzwukk join Farm Fresh through the team's social media platforms on Tuesday.

This development comes just a day after the club team revealed that Romero will begin playing for them in the third conference of the Premier Volleyball League, set to start later this month.

"Can't just cruise to your dreams. You've got to work, run, jump, roll, and more. Just ask Rizza Cruz. She's been working hard since she was young," the team shared via X.

Cruz started her volleyball journey with Kings Montessori, where she became one of the top prospects in the high school scene.

She then brought her talents to Adamson University, where she eventually helped end a nine-year semifinal drought when she and the rest of the Lady Falcons finished in third place last May.

Now, the middle blocker will once again follow the same path as Romero as they debut together as Foxies in the PVL.

Though she was still eligible to play in the UAAP, Cruz decided to turn pro, and according to her, this decision has a lot to do with her realizations about life during the pandemic.

Kaya ngayon po na nagkaroon ng chance to give back to them, I grabbed it na," she said.

With this move, Cruz will be reuniting with fellow former Lady Falcons in Ckyle Tagsip, Kate Santiago, and Trisha Tubu.

She will also join forces with familiar volleyball names like Joan Narit, Gayle Pascual, Jade Gentapa, and Pia Ildefonso, among others.

And after four months of the off-season, Cruz, with gratitude in her heart, is now ready to roar with the Farm Fresh Foxies and begin her professional career.
