Oliver Almadro is set to make his return, signing with Petro Gazz for the upcoming 2023 Premier Volleyball League season.
The Angels, who were coming off a championship run in the Reinforced Conference, recently lost head coach Rald Ricafort and assistant coach Arnold Lanio, who both signed with PLDT.
Meanwhile, Almadro recently stepped down as Choco Mucho's head coach last November in the midst of the Reinforced Conference. The Rebisco management said that Almadro will focus on his duties to Ateneo.
The veteran coach compiled a 24-27 win-loss slate during his six-conference stay with the Flying Titans.
Now, Almadro will be tasked to lead Petro Gazz's build up starting in the Open Conference.
