Creamline is looking to bounce back in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference as it officially tapped American spiker Courtney Schwan for its redemption campaign starting next month.
The 29-year-old outside hitter from Auburn, Washington, is fresh off a successful stint with the Orlando Valkyries, helping the squad capture the Major League Volleyball championship in the United States.
“Super excited kami to share with you mga ka-vibes ang newest addition sa ating GV-kada! Sabay-sabay nating i-welcome si Courtney Schwan, ang ating pinakabagong Pink Volleybelle,” Creamline announced on social media.
The Cool Smashers are banking on Schwan to deliver as they aim to break a title drought that has lingered since their historic Grand Slam run in 2024. The league’s winningest club settled for second place in the 2024–25 All-Filipino Conference before back-to-back podium finishes in the PVL On Tour and Invitational.
Schwan will bolster a wing rotation already headlined by former MVPs Alyssa Valdez and Jema Galanza, as Creamline seeks to reclaim its dominant form on the PVL stage.
