Cignal announced the signing of two players that will beef up their roster for the 2023 Premier Volleyball League season.
The HD Spikers signed outside hitter Toni Rose Basas and veteran setter Gyzelle Sy.
Meanwhile, Sy is making a return to the big league.
The 5-foot setter previously played for Chery Tiggo in the 2021 season. She was with Imus during the PNVF Champions League for Women last year.
The HD Spikers opted not to renew six players for this year, namely Klarisa Abriam, Ayel Estranero, Angeli Araneta, Marist Layug, Joy Dacoron, and Arianne Layug.
