Cignal continued its awesome offseason by reinforcing its roster with its two new draftees, an undrafted libero, and a long-term extension for its rookie of the conference.
Erin Pangilinan and Jessa Ordiales, drafted 6th and 18th during the 2025 PVL draft, officially inked their contracts with the HD Spikers to start their pro careers.
The former NU Lady Bulldog and DLSU Lady Spiker are now scheduled to join the team in the upcoming PVL On Tour beginning in Ilocos this Sunday.
Former NU libero Pearl Denura also inked a deal with the HD Spikers after going undrafted in the last PVL draft.
Recently crowned Rookie of the Conference Ishie Lalongisip, also put pen to paper, as she inked a long-term extension with Shaq Delos Santos' PVL club.
Selected as 7th overall in the 2024 PVL Draft, Lalongisip proved her worth in the last All-Filipino Conference, stepping up as a starter during Cignal's rise to the third seed in the preliminaries.
"Masaya and excited ako sa team namin ngayon kahit may Alas Pilipinas duties sina Vanie (Gandler) and Dawn (Catindig),” said Cignal head coach Shaq Delos Santos.
“Good time to try out itong mga bata and new draftees namin sa PVL On Tour, and we're confident to say na we want them to be here long-term and hopefully maging part ng aming long-coveted championship. Sana makuha namin eventually.”
They also welcomed a new outfitter for their women’s team, as JYL Atletica is now the HD Spikers’ official supplier for all their jerseys, shorts, jackets, and apparel needs.
Cignal is bracketed in Group B together with Creamline, Akari, Chery, Capital1, and Galeries. Their first game is against the Akari Chargers this June 22 at 4 p.m.
