Brooke Van Sickle deflects credit to Petro Gazz for 36-point performance

As the battle unfolded against Chery Tiggo in Game 1 of the third-place series, Van Sickle left everything on the court, propelling her team to a hard-fought win in five intense sets.

With a career-defining display, the 26-year-old Filipina-American powerhouse showcased her prowess, tallying a personal-best 36 points through a combination of precision attacks, formidable blocks, and aces, all while exhibiting stellar defensive skills with 10 excellent receptions.


Despite the individual accolades, Van Sickle humbly attributed her standout performance to the collective effort of her teammates, emphasizing their unwavering support and exceptional teamwork.

"I can't do it without my teammates," she emphasized, highlighting the crucial role of camaraderie and strategic guidance from coaches in her success on the court.


Reflecting on Petro Gazz's journey leading up to the pivotal match, Van Sickle acknowledged the challenges faced, particularly the sting of consecutive losses in the semifinals.
