Pablo looks to build on Open outing next conference

Myla Pablo is looking to settle some unfinished business in the next Premier Volleyball League conference.

And that is to hand the Petro Gazz management its second PVL title.

"Siguro next conference kailangan pa namin mag palakas as a team, kailangan naming mag work out nang maayos and mabuo pa yung team namin lalo," said Pablo after the Angels' Game Two loss last April 8.

"I hope next conference mabigay namin sa management yung championship," she added.

Petro Gazz fell via sweep against Creamline in the 2022 PVL Open Conference finals.

As tough as it was, the former two-time PVL MVP had no regrets after seeing the the team give their all in the finale.

"I'm really happy din na nakarating kami sa finals ng mga teammates namin kahit ang dami naming pinaghirapan sa practice namin umabot pa rin kami sa finals," said Pablo.

"Kahit alam naman nating maraming teams na malalakas ngayon pero isa pa rin kami na nakaapak sa finals and alam namin na binigay namin yung best namin this game," she added.

The Angels ended the group phase with a 2-1 standing to clinch a twice-to-beat incentive in the quarterfinals where they eliminated F2 Logistics in just one game.

Petro Gazz almost got booted out of title contention following its Game One loss to Cignal in the semifinals. Fortunately, the team found a hero in Pablo who led the team to two huge wins to secure their spot in the finals.
